Hubert Davis era is officially over at North Carolina. It's been a process, as Greg and I talked about

several times and I see daily.

But here we are on Tuesday night, March the 24th, about 915 live on this show, and it's over for Hubert Davis at Carolina.

Well, unfortunately, I'm going to start by reading a statement.

UNC just put something out.

It says Hubert Davis, who has served as head coach for five seasons,

will not return to coach the Tar Heels. The recommendation was made by Director of Athletics

Bubba Cunningham, an executive associate athletic director Steve Newmark, who will transition

to AD on July 1st and accepted by Chancellor Lee H. Roberts on Tuesday. So that's part of what UNC said.
