You were there. Was it that bad? It was that bad in terms of an

England performance, yeah. So as an occasion, I thought it was great. I thought Scotland were

fantastic. I think I, like a lot of people, massively underrated them, wrote them off. I thought

they were really, really clever. I thought McGinn was great. I thought the

Tom and A was brilliant defence. Hanley won everything. Gilmore is a genius. I think he's an

amazing player to watch. And Dykes and Adams were a real handful up front. So, you know,

we have to acknowledge just how good Scotland were. And frankly, they made better chances in open play than England did, Adams especially.

That said, England were really poor, really, really poor.

They didn't look like getting in behind.

They only had one real chance, I think, which was the Johnstone Tender against the post after 10 minutes.

They looked short of ideas, not much energy, didn't change

anything in the second half, the subs didn't work, and yeah, just a pretty disappointing,

dispiriting evening at the office for England and one that raises a lot of questions about England's

abilities going through the tournament. Yeah, David.
