It is day two of the Trump regime and we're going to the chapel.

We're really the National Cathedral.

Because frankly, there hasn't been a reaction like we've seen on television

to people going to church since Ambassador Thorne took his son Damien.

This is the warning.

There is great offense, tremendous grievance playing out across the conservative media within

just 48 hours of Donald Trump's ascension.

You see, our unity has been spoiled by words of division,

words about mercy, that somehow affronted the President of the United States in all of his

many appendages in the National Cathedral. In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country

and we're scared now.

There are gay, lesbian, and transgender children in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear

for their lives.

I ask you to have mercy, Mr. President, on those in our communities whose children fear

that their parents will be taken away, and that you help those who are fleeing war zones

and persecution in their own lands to find

compassion and welcome here. He was upset. You can see it on his face. The sneering, the antagonism.

His defenders on television and in the news media have lashed out in his defense,

declaring that the words of Jesus Christ, expressed by a bishop and an inaugural prayer service,

are an affront to Donald Trump.

Scott Jennings laid it out on CNN.

These wokecapalians or Episcopalians or whatever they're calling themselves today, this is ridiculous, this was terrible.
