We both thought this would be a much closer game just because of the respect that we

have for this Ohio State squad.

I worry, Darrell, that that nugget is going to get lost in all this because Ohio State is a

good basketball team, but Auburn made it look like they didn't belong today.

Yeah, a great perspective. A six and three big 10 team that was 28th at Ken Palm at some point

or net at some point during this game, Auburn, this is not a mid-major with a losing record.

This is a good Big Ten basketball team that just came off a win, by the way, against Rutgers

that has two players on that team that are NBA first-round draft picks.

And how about the job they did on Thornton, who's a really good player,

and I don't think hit his first basket until about four minutes left to go in the game?

Unbelievable defensive effort.

You can talk about the offense all you want and how great it was and high flying,

but I'm shocked.

Look, I'm not going to lie, I'm shocked.

I thought Auburn could win this game double digits because of proximity and how good Auburn is.

But I didn't see this coming against a big 10 basketball team of the winning record that was top 30.

Yeah, and you and I had a brief back and forth. It may have been after the Duke game where we were guessing what the line would be.

And I think you said 11 and a half and it ended up being 12 and a half i thought it'd be single

digits and goodness gracious you could have said it at 20 and it just it wouldn't have come close
