And Auburn stunned by Milwaukee, 13 to 8.

Milwaukee hopped on him early, absolutely just hit Jake Marchiano over and over and over again.

It was 10 nothing as soon as we could blink.

Lindsay, what happened?

So I think a combination to two things in that first inning.

One, Jake Marchiano, I don't know if he wasn't fully warmed up,

if he's out of the weather or what, his Velo was sitting in the high 80s.

So he wasn't really throwing his, I saw some 85s in there,

wasn't throwing his normal stuff.

But then two, they very clearly had some sort of tell on him and they were like all of those hits in the first inning were second pitch sometimes the first pitch early in the at-bat they had an

idea of what he was going to do what he was going to throw and they were ready for it and you know

Auburn goes to L.J. Cormier after that. And once he settles in, it starts getting a lot more manageable, but just the deficit was too big. Auburn just could not dig themselves out of that hole in time to, uh, to advance to the winner's bracket. I mean, they still continue to score, Christian. I mean, you look at it that, you know, after it was 10, nothing, they scored a run in the fifth and the seventh.

And the ninth is still, we walked a guy across with the bases loaded, but still it's just,

it was that initial, like, run that we weren't ready for.

But, I mean, Milwaukee didn't let up. And then, like, we couldn't really get the offense going till late either. Yeah. I mean, four, four runs in the first inning, two in the second, down six nothing before you really have an opportunity to get yourself jelled and ready to go. I mean, when you put it into context, you only allowed three runs in the entire SEC tournament. And you allowed four in the first inning of this regional, right? So it's insane. And this is we swap that? Can we allow all these runs in the SEC tournament when it doesn't matter instead? Golly. And like one thing we've talked about all week heading into this regional is did anybody feel concerned about the pitching staff? And then this happens right from the get-go.
