Auburn season comes to an end at the hand of Ole Miss.

And I think the storyline of this one going into it was the bats,

question about the bats and specifically runners in scoring position.

And Lindsay, I mean, that's the big chatter right now.

You left too many guys on base, both today and yesterday.

Yeah, Auburn goes one for 10 with the runners and scoring position in this game.

And that's now, if I had the math right, 11 games this season where Auburn scored two or less

runs. And you could see they just, they had some quality swings, right? Like it's going to

sound like cope. They had some quality swings. They had some decent batted balls. They didn't fall.

And when it came down to the clutch situations where Auburn had to get a base hit,

Auburn had to advance the runner, Auburn had to have a base hit. Auburn had to advance the runner.

Auburn had to have a productive out.

They weren't able to get those. And, you know, Old Miss nailed all their stuff. They had five hits. They had five runs. Auburn had seven hits and three runs. And because of it, the season's over. And I do think, and we'll get to this a little bit later, I do think there's going to be conversations about some minor changes for next season, because this was a pattern that we've seen too much in 2026.
