He is baseball's Lindsay Crosby and the Auburn Tigers earned the number four overall national seat.

There were some people that tried to tell you they're on the bubble.

There were some national publications going into last week said Auburn wasn't a top

eight seed.

And the fact of the matter is that wasn't even close to accurate.

Auburn, the number four overall seed in college baseball, Lindsay, this is absolutely

correct.

Hey, Zach, remind me, didn't somebody come unlocked on Auburn last week and say

that Auburn was a lock for a national seed? Like, it wasn't even close? Who was that? Yes. I think

he had a striking resemblance to yourself. And look, I had Auburn as the fifth seed. When I went to

bed last night of my, I think Auburn's the five seed. I think there were arguments, you know, or a lot of the projections had either Texas or North Carolina ahead of them. I didn't think they'd both be ahead of Auburn. Needless to say, Auburn was ahead of both of them. So, yeah, I mean, it goes to show how much RPI does matter. And we can, you can say dumb. You can say R.P. Like you disagree with how RPI works. You can say it shouldn't be the most important thing. I don't care. That's fine. You can certainly feel those things. And I wouldn't really strongly disagree with you. But throughout the last few weeks of the season, when people were talking about how Auburn is on, you know, the bubble when it thought, when you talk about it being a national seed when they had the third best RPI in college baseball, it's like, no, RPI matters. It matters a ton. It matters every year. And it's like it's not going to just change this year. So people being surprised by that, I think is a little interesting. Yeah. And what I love, Auburn is the first team to, like, sorry,

the only team to be a top four seed in back to back seasons here.

None of the other top four seeds were top four seeds last year.

And this goes to show you how important RPI is because last year,

Auburn was in a very similar situation

when it came to RPI about being like I think we're number five in RPI to end the year

to just being being willing to aggressively schedule yourself and being willing to put yourself out there and say,
