Finally dropped this morning months of rumored cast list, leaks.

This official cast did leak a few days ago, Martin Holmes.

But we officially have the 50 now.

Jeff announced it on CBS Mornings today.

Kind of like, you guys see the video we did it with?

You like read out every name from the urn?

No, that's cool. It was like returning from season one, out every name from the urn no that's cool it was

like returning from season one blah blah blah that yeah it was cool i like that uh 24 people yeah 12 from

pre 40 12 from post 40 most people we've ever had in a season of Survivor.

It seems like, and chat could correct me if I'm wrong, seems like it's still 26 days,

as far as we know, which is interesting. But hell, surviving Barstool got through 24 people in eight days.

So interested to see the tribe breakdowns. We'll talk about that. We'll go through each player.

My initial reaction upon seeing the list was disappointed. I was a little underwhelmed by the list.

A lot of new era people, a lot of people are saying, I don't want to see them back. But I've been going through, I've been writing a blog, breaking down every person. And as I go through it, the cast is growing on me. There's not that many where it's like, what the hell they're back? Now, listen, there's a lot of people that aren't back that should be. If we're talking in the new era, listen, if you're going to have 12 new era slots, you're not going to have Jesse and Carolyn. I think that's insane. Penner, Amanda Kimmel, were old names that were rumored that I would have liked to see make the final list. But overall, I like that we're going to get a mix of eras. I think it's a little heavy on 41. I don't think it's going to be 12 12 tribes, new and old era. I don't think that's going to be the case because you can't get rid of that many people that early if you only have two tribes. I think we'll see three or four tribes to start off. And also, I hope it's not that because I think a cool thing about this season will be seeing people from different eras mesh seeing you and coach have a conversation seeing

Emily flipping and Colby have a conversation seeing these mixes of games seeing how new school

players who are super fans will interact with legends like serene Ozzie will there be like an

element of idol worship there uh I think is going to be a cool aspect.

So it's growing on me.
