Nintendo just announced Splatoon Raiders is launching on July 23rd, and we want to talk about it.

Yeah, we got a pretty nice length trailer with a lot more footage, kind of giving us a glimpse into what this game actually is.

Remember, this was the one that was revealed kind of out of nowhere

after that first big wave of Switch 2 information felt very out of the blue. And it was very

teasery too. Yes. And lo and behold, we get our big Nintendo to DayDrop where yes, the game's

coming July 23rd. But I want to dig into a lot of the info that we saw in the trailer.

Yeah, let's do it.

Like, they really want us to know, hey, this is a single player game.

Like there are multiple times in this trailer where it's like, boom, this is not the

Splatoon game that you have been playing to this point.

Yeah, no, that's good because I think that that is

confusing, you know, seeing these similar characters, seeing a kid and a squid and octaling and all

the sorts of things, like the salmon run type enemies. You might think, oh, this is something related

to Splatoon 3 or another mode for multiplayer.

And it is hard to see in the gameplay, just looking at the gameplay itself,

understanding whether or not it's single or multiplayer.

So I think it's good that they're like over communicating the single player part of it.

I got to ask a question and the question is, why do these Spletoon trailers always begin with these lengthy character creation segments?

It's like, we get it.

You create your thing.
