I'm your host, Clayton Safie, here to break down a 110 to 69 win for the Michigan Wolverines over the Penn State Nittany Lions on Thursday night at Chrysler Center.

Michigan has moved to 21 in one.

It is the best 22 games start to a Michigan basketball season ever

surpassing the 2013 season and the 2019 season. 2013 Michigan was ranked number one at the time

and lost at Indiana. And then in 2019, Michigan went and lost at Iowa in their 22nd game.

But not this time.

Michigan comes away with a 41 point win over Penn State.

It's Michigan's 7th 40 plus point win of the season.

They already set a Big Ten record with six of those earlier in the year.

And Las Vegas, Michigan is back in the year and Las Vegas.

Michigan is back in a way with this game coming off at two top 10 victories last week.

They then just explode offensively. We'll talk about that. We'll talk about the smothering defense

They win the Big Ten tournament. They make the Sweet 16. And then this season,

he goes from one of the worst years ever, two years ago, to the best start in Michigan

basketball history and potentially much more. They could accomplish a hell of a lot more here

going down in the stretch, including cutting down nets at the end of the year. In April,

that's all down the road. But this team has a chance because of the gear that they showed

tonight, the maturity they showed tonight, the unselfishness that they showed, and

Amari Burnett is a big part of that.

He explodes for 31 points in this one.
