I want to bring up some tigers here. John Paul Morosi has some interesting audio. And in the midst of this

lion's run and the Pistons getting hot and the new coach bump for the wings.

Maybe you've tuned out and that's okay, but Alex Bregman hasn't signed anywhere.

And the Tigers haven't signed anyone.

And I have said all along in this scales of justice, if you're asking me, would I rather have

Bregman than not?

Of course I will say yes, but I am not pounding the desk.

I'm not screaming it to the hills.

I think there is a definite difference of opinion with the marketplace and his representatives,

Scott Boris.

I think you're going to get into a heavily option-laden deal,

which gives almost complete leverage to the player.

If he's bad, you're stuck with him.

If he's good, he flips the bird and leaves.

Would the tigers go down that road like they did with Harvey?

But a new name has emerged.

So here's what I want to do.

I want to play John Paul Morosi on the Bregman situation.

Then I want to play Marosi introducing a new name to the conversation.

And again, I don't know that I love the name, but we'll talk about it.
