can and ready for air, and then then Tuesday rolled around and we had news that

we had to address.

Stefan Diggs has been charged.

We'll go right to the statements, talk to Phil about that a little bit.

We're also going to delve into what happened Monday night when Matthew Stafford punted away

his MVP chances.

First, Diggs, charged, in court, Tuesday, statement from his attorney, David Meyer, saying

Stefan Diggs categorically denies these allegations of felony strangulation or suffocation

and a misdemeanor assault.

There's the charges, are the charges.

They are unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated because they did not occur.

The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear.

They are the direct result of an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved

to the employee's satisfaction.

Stefan looks forward to establishing the truth in a court of law. Diggs is going to be arraigned on

January 23rd. Meanwhile, the Patriot statement is this, we are aware of the accusations that have

been made regarding Stefan Diggs. Stefan has informed the organization that he categorically

denies the allegations.

We support Stefan.

We will continue to gather information and will cooperate fully with the appropriate

authorities and the NFL as necessary out of respect for all parties involved.
