Hello and welcome, thanks for tuning in to the Embodied Astrology Podcast. I'm Renee Sills, consulting astrologer,

somatic practitioner, and your host. This is a special and unusual episode for Virgo

season in 2023. That's August 23rd through

September 22nd. This season there's a lot going on including Mercury retrograde

in Virgo, the culmination of Venus's retrograde in Leo, and even more

retrogrades with Uranus and Jupiter and Taurus. As you probably know, retrogrades and

especially Mercury retrogrades are periods of time that often

require us to be adaptable and to change course or modify our plans in order to

meet the shifting needs of the moment.

This has definitely been my experience over the past few weeks due to a pretty significant and

also unforeseen opportunity, which has required a lot of research and rearranging and which I'm excited to tell you about soon.

But due to the unforeseen nature of this opportunity, I wasn't able to give the time I usually do to prepare individual readings for each sign.

So I'm taking the astrological cue and readjusting and reframing, and I want to offer this

reading as an opportunity to tune in with collective astrology and an

overview of Virgo season, which includes a body-based exploration and healing practice,

general astrological interpretation, and also timing for Virgo season specific events.

I'll also be offering a part two for Virgo season with many readings for each sign through the elements, which you can

find in the show notes or on your favorite listening platforms.
