an every day. All right, Darren Peterson is the mystery. Shreyes Lata has written the best stuff about

him at the Kansas City Star, and he joins us now. This is going to be great. Let me ask just a ton of

questions here to try to give the jazz fan the feeling on him.

I want to ask you the very first big picture question.

I'm going to, I'm going with the lead right out of the shoot instead of leading it to the end.

If you had the first or second pick of the NBA draft, would you feel comfortable drafting Darren Peterson?

That's a great question, and 100% yes. In my eyes, I think that he was the best playing

in college basketball when he was fully healthy. He did things on the court that nobody else

could do. As long as the medical is clear, to me, Darren Peterson is the best choice.

I just think there are things when you watch his high school tape,

not all that translated into playing at Kansas.

But I think a lot of that was injury related.

A lot of that was the stuff he was going through.

Darren is the best player I've ever

covered. And I've covered five seasons of college ball between Kansas and Yukon. So I've got to see

some great players. But I don't know. I just, when I'd watch him play, it's like hard not to be like,

man, this guy's going to be so good at the NBA level, NBA spacing. And if he can figure out

what's been going on this past year,

then he should be the number one choice.

And I think coming into the year,

he was the guy who was consensus number one,
