Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

I would like to offer this Rosary for the repose of the soul of Barbara Concannon and for all of her family members, we'll pause a moment.

You can call to mind your own prayer intentions.

The theme of our meditation today is reopening. Prior to sheltering in place in March

we had thousands of people living this simple way of life of friendship, good conversation, and the Rosary.

But the deeper we got into shelter and place, the less people were able to get together,

and we stopped living this simple way of life. We're all praying for our

schools and our businesses and our states and countries to reopen.

But what we need to reopen is the living of this movement,

because people come to God through other people.

1:14.0

Our first decade, we begin by reopening, by opening our hearts to Christ.

We can always open them more fully to Jesus. There is so much

1:27.2

anxiety about the uncertainty in the world. We're not sure whether our

1:32.2

businesses, schools, or even our country

1:34.6

will be reopened in a month or a year there are fears about staying closed and

1:40.4

there's fears about reopening too quickly and we can control none of it.

But there's one reopening we can control, the reopening of our hearts and our homes to

1:52.2

Jesus and to others.
