All right, guys, we've got a special return guest on the podcast today. His name is Raymond Ibrahim. He is an author, translator, columnist, and vocal critic of Islam. He's also an expert in Islamic history and doctrine. He was actually born in the United States to Coptic immigrants from Egypt. He is fluent in both English and Arabic, and he did his master's thesis

under Victor Davis Hansen, who's also been on the show, and he's now at the Hoover Institution.

So he's the author of a tremendous trilogy of books that I suggest everybody pick up and

read. The first one is Sword and Cimitar, 14 centuries of war between Islam and the West.

Defenders of the West, the Christian heroes who

stood against Islam. We talked about that on episode 572 of this podcast. And then his newest book,

which is what we talk about today, which is called the Two Swords of Christ, five centuries

of war between Islam and the warrior monks of Christendom. And so on this podcast today, you know,

we talk about the fact that he is a very,

very vocal and outspoken critic of Islam, but not just critic. He provides the historical receipts

that most of the people that say they understand Islam or are becoming an apologist for Islam,

they either don't know the history, they're ignorant of it, or they are purposefully in an evil
