Ray and Faith Copeland raised six children and ran their modest farm for decades.

After their children were grown, Ray needed help on the farm.

He began hiring transient men from cities hours away from his property.

Welcome back to Crime Lines as always, I'm glad you're here and I hope you're doing well.

I have a quick announcement in light of the fact that I won't be able to do any in-person

meetups or events for the next few months.

If not the rest of the year, I've decided to partner with a company called Get Vocal

to do some live streams. It'll be me on video, sometimes with a guest or two,

and then you all will be in the chat room. It's kind of like a Facebook live, a YouTube stream,

a Twitch thing that my kids like to watch. I'll be throwing out questions about recent episodes

to get your thoughts on them and we can just hang out. This is a chance to take this podcast

and make it a little bit more interactive. To kick this off, we're going to start with a virtual

birthday party since my birthday is this month and I am enjoying it, looking at the walls of my house.
