PM on Thursday, November 6th, 2025. And it's currently 56 degrees outside in Philadelphia.

And my heart rate was exactly 104 beats per minute one day ago at this time. I don't

know what that even means. So why am I doing the intro this way? Well, it's just me doing the

episode today. Sorry to disappoint you people that wanted to hear Stephen and a normal raw talk,

but it had to be this way because Stephen did not finish editing and posting the real world

lowercase P capital review R6 Mark 3 video until around 8 a.m. Now embargo from Canon was set at

1 a.m. Eastern standard time. I don't know how they come up with their times. I would have

preferred that it was the next morning and that would have given Stephen more time and we would

have been able to hit the embargo. But it's fine that we don't. Other people were able to.

But this video was a 28 minute and 28 second roughly deep dive into, I mean, it's basically a real world review,

but we call it a preview because it's still pre-production firmware. So they say, even though it's

1.0 and we don't exactly agree with them when they try to tell us that it's not. Like, well, it could

still be 1.0, but changes are going to be made, blah, blah, blah. I don't know. Maybe that's the case, but it's not like we ran into any issues with the camera and we could open raw files by the time the camera came out. Now, when I first got the camera, I couldn't open raw files. Now, I'm sure people could figure it out that we've had the camera for a while, which was really nice to have, actually, that Canon for once, and they don't normally do this, was able to give us three-ish-plus weeks to a month.

We actually saw the camera when we were in Japan. Now, that wasn't the reason for us going to Japan. That ended up being a little bit of an extra bonus was getting eyes on and hands

on with the R6 Mark 3 for a matter of like five minutes and a very abbreviated briefing that really

didn't go into much detail. But when we got home, they were able to send us the R6 Mark 3 in a matter

of less than a week after we got back,

which meant we then had time to use it. And boy, oh boy, did I use it. I should also mention

that when we were in Japan, we did get to see the 45.1.2. And I did get the 451.2,

but it only came in last Thursday. So that's why there's no images from the 3512, sorry, 4512

in the preview of the R6 Mark 3 because we were already done filming by the time that the 4512 came

...
