slightly different today. I decided to do a retrospective look back on coach George Raveling,

a close friend who unfortunately passed away at 88 on September 1st. If you don't know who coach George

Raveling is, you're going to find out because I sat down with him seven years ago for an

interview. And I'm going to go through the whole story of how he and I met. I'm going to read what I

wrote on Facebook and give a little bit more detail about that. But he was a fascinating human being, someone I am better off,

better for because I got to know him. And the people that he knew and the lives that he encountered

and the people that he touched is insane. The things that it, I equated it to Forrest Gump, and I say it in what I'm going to read to you before we run the interview at the end of this, is that it's like Forrest Gump. He was, you know how Forrest Gump was everywhere? Well, so was Coach Rav. He had his hand in a little bit of this and a little bit of that. And it is just fascinating. You're going to sit

there and listen to this interview that I recorded in a hotel room in Kentucky with Coach Rav. And I might

add that I didn't record it very well because I wasn't good at recording that audio seven years

ago. And I did post it a long time ago. I posted it. And some of you may have heard it and a bunch of you probably

haven't. But before I get to the interview, I've got quite a lot to talk about in general.

And let's start with Stephen's hard at work on a bunch of stuff. I'm hard at work on a bunch of

stuff. That's why one of the reasons that it made it easier to do this episode this way is that we've got a lot to

talk about probably next week. We are getting ready to go away to Japan soon, and there's a lot of

work that we need to get done leading up to Japan. There's also a ton of rumors that are floating

around right now. I mean, Canon, it's not even a

rumor that they put up that they are going to be releasing a new cinema EOS camera because you can

see that it's a cinema camera by just brightening it up in the screen grab. That's coming on the

ninth. And there's a lot of other rumors floating around. So we're working on quite a bit of stuff

that we'll get to talk about whenever the news is available and we know what everything is.

And that, you know, that's important to talk about. So we'll definitely get to that. But we are
