Stephen, it was so nice of you to make your one phone call from jail when you tried to get your real ID, but without your real ID because you didn't have a real ID.

So how do you really get a real ID if you, you know, you have an expired passport?

So, Stephen, did they arrest you and try to send you to a detention center when you went to get your real ID in New Jersey?

Thankfully, they did not. It went very smooth.

And it was a quick 20-minute process from what I thought was going to be like at least an hour

long process according to everybody I talked to. I knew it would be quick because when I went and got

my regular ID last time, all the people coming in for real IDs weren't, they didn't, I mean,

you just show your stuff and then they take a new ID and you're so special now. Yeah, it's definitely

not as overwhelming as much as I initially thought it would be. The issue, of course, is, you know,

what to bring, what documentation do you bring? Did you bring your foreskin? That's all I needed

actually. It's weird. But the confusing part is their website.

They say two plus one plus six equals real ID.

So you look at that and you're like, oh, I need nine points or documents to prove that it's me and to get my real ID.

But in reality, I only need it four.

What they're saying is you need two proofs of address,

one proof of social security number, and then six points worth of primary documentation to prove

that you're you. So what does that count for? So you need one primary form of documentation,

which is usually like a passport or a birth certificate or something like that. I was going to

use my passport. I pull it out and realized it just expired a few months ago. I'm like, damn. So I ended up

using my birth certificate for that. That was four points right there. And then you need another

two points, one each of another primary documentation, which for me was my driver's license and my

social security card.
