Last time on Ravenloft, we were gathering in the home of Sophia Mickelos after returning with the amulet of Ravenkind and escaping the horde of undead that nearly decimated our entire party.

We had spent some time

regaining ourselves and getting acquainted with our new party members

as well as planning our next move.

We have one of several artifacts

that can be used to kill Straud

in the form of the amulet, but we need directions to the other.

And after a lot of research, Sophia has found us a lead on a sword that could slay Straud.

However, this sword is not easily acquired, and the information needed to point us in the right direction is located

nowhere else than the family crypt of Castle Ravenloft itself. Before we are able to concoct a plan,

a carriage arrives at the door with Straud himself inviting us to dinner at his castle.

We devise a plan to both attend the dinner to distract Stroud while another team

sneaks into the crypt to get the information we need.

And we have been tensely talking with the vampire lord of Barovia at the dinner table while our friends sneak around at the basement.

And, uh, Brand has just coddened on to the fact that he knows something Straud doesn't know.
