So I was pretty confident with this week's pick a bono fidey classic and yet halfway through watching it I took to Google to ask what

the fuck is Mary Poppings about it's just one of many questions about this 1964 musical comedy fantasy film which resides deep in the heart of so very many

including our own Hannah Dunleavy step in time. Yes. Other conundrums include how old is that child's face?

Are Mary and Bert DTF? Is this why penguins aren't actually waiters? Why am I so

tired watching this? So plenty to talk about is what I'm saying. Jen as someone who'd somehow never seen Mary Poppins before, was it what you expected?

Yeah, broadly speaking, I mean I've obviously seen bits and pieces of it over the years and I have seen the

remake of it as well quite recently because someone showed it to Lyra so then she

wanted to watch it 12,000 times so So yeah, I've seen the remake recently so yeah, broadly speaking what I expected. Yeah, I mean I don't know what it's about. I don't know.

It's not a remake, it's a follow-up. It's a sequel. Yeah. Well I've seen it loads and it still wasn't what I was expecting that so there we go
