Daniel Jeremiah is at it again. How is this possible? How did someone who I believe to be

the next Gil Brand of Big Media Player Evaluations, a go-to source for who's good and who's bad

in the NFL draft? How did it come to be that this guy, Daniel Jeremiah, has become Bill

Pauling. You talked last week about his top 50 list, the updated top, the latest top 50 list,

how he had Javante Williams, linebacker Nick Bolton, linebacker Zaven Collins, JC Horn,

Najay Harris, Caderius Tony, Travis ETN, linebacker Jeremiah Oussu, Koramoa, a safety

Travon Mooring, a guard, Elijah Veritucker, and of course, who could forget Jalen Waddle all ranked

ahead of Mac Jones, a quarterback, a quarterback, were they 100% tile college QBR, 96.1 college

QBR for Mac Jones? Never seen anything like it. Just one of the best seasons by a college

quarterback we've ever seen. And he did it without Jalen Waddle for the majority of the

season, and his number one receiver was 170 pounds and not particularly athletic. Devon

to Smith? Yeah, then all he does is go to the senior bowl and have one of the most impressive

senior bowls the last five years. I mean, you have to say one of because Justin Herbert

put on a laser show at the senior bowl last year, but I mean, Justin Herbert aside, Mac Jones

was awesome. The great question is how and why has the pre draft analysis degraded so

heavily this season? And the great poster child for this bottoming out in the quality of

the analysis is Daniel Jeremiah. And now he goes to Twitter and he says, we're about two

to three years away from personnel departments, not caring about 40 times. The game GPS data

is going to replace it. Who cares when he ran in the 40? I know exactly how fast he ran

in game conditions. I have five years of data for context. Once again, Daniel Jeremiah,

proving he doesn't know what he's talking about. And he's not the only one saying this.
