This is an episode we've been anticipating for a while because we get a lot of questions asking about advanced readers.

How do we help our kids find books that are appropriate for them if they're reading above their own grade level?

Well, I invited someone on to the show to help us with that today.

I know you're going to love her like I do. Her name is Colleen Kessler.

She's a friend of mine. In fact, she's also the author of several books for teachers, parents, and children.

She's master's degree in gifted education, and she spent over 10 years as a gifted intervention specialist advocating for the bright,

and often misunderstood children with whom she worked.

Now she's continuing to write and podcast, and she homeschools her own highly gifted and twice exceptional kids.

And she's my own first go-to stop for answers to this question.
