Hello, I'm Gary Searman, and this week in Bible prophecy is coming right to you.

I'm here on stage with Mando Gonzalez, and we have a marvelous topic today.

It has everything to do with watching.

Yes, it does, Gary.

I mean, we've been having some discussions, fun discussions,

and just we are the Prophecy Watchers.

And so we thought, you know, what does that really mean?

Yeah.

You know, what does that mean?

And one of the things that we want to talk about this week is this was a big week. I mean, we're just a couple days out. There, as we know,

there was a lot of anticipation, excitement, and dare we say, even predictions by many people.

Actually, very clear predictions, thus says the Lord, that the rapture would take place on September 23rd and 24th, the Feast of Trumpets, and that has come and gone. And we thought, well, what does that mean? You know, what does that mean to be a watcher in times like this? This isn't new. There's been predictions for a long time that have come and gone. And I will just say, Gary, I'm sad. I'm sad it didn't happen. Let's be

honest, I'm ready to go. But we thought it would be helpful to talk about watching with wisdom

versus maybe watching with carelessness or watching with irresponsibility. Also, what I've seen, and you've been following this longer than I have,

Gary, but rapture burnout. I mean, there is, I'm seeing that already, and I'm getting the emails,

and I'm getting the comments. And again, as pastors, we care about people, we care about all people,

we love people, we love the church, and we want to continue to encourage people to be watchers. Mark 1337, Jesus told us to be watchers, which is, again, we're prophecy watchers. But how do we do it with wisdom? And so we want to just kind of unpack that a little bit, because I think, is this going to be the last time that there's a prediction

oh no and actually in fact online today we'll get into a little bit more details but now there

there's new dates it's like well the calendar was wrong so that the jewish calendar is incorrect

and so the real date is really october 7th and 8th and so people are doubling down on some of these things.

But, you know, Gary, just let me ask you because, I mean, I, I'd like to tell people your age
