has tweeted the night but man last night last night, Shams and Sam at the athletic, reported that the Raptors

and Pacers are in active talks on a deal that would send Pascal Seaccom, a mainstay in the rumor

mill for, I guess, several seasons now, to Indiana in exchange for a package that includes Bruce Brown, his cowboy hat, I believe, some other salaries, and then three first round picks.

And that's got everyone very intrigued.

Three first round picks for Siakum. This guy's on an expiring deal. Anyway, nothing has happened as of yet. It won't be official until, I don't know, 10, 15 minutes after we do this podcast. But what do you think here of Shams and Sam's report last night? Pascal Lovers, this one's for you. Pascal Seacom, to be dealt for three first-round picks, it may seem high, but I think if there's one team that could trade high for Pascal Seacom, it is the Indiana Pacers.

They basically aren't paying anybody next year other than Halliburton. They've got lots of room to give for him. This guy could be the best guy that they could get in free agency as well.

Right. Because there are some guys who will be free agents, but they could be signed to other deals by then.

I think this is a team that could offer him the max, a team that desperately needs defense,

a guy who can guard one through four, one through five.

He'll be 30 this free agency when it comes to it.

So are they giving up a lot for an older guy that may not even sign there?

I suppose you could think that, but 30 ain't that old.

And I think he's going to play on the ground a lot.

I think he'll be fine.

I do like to think the Raptors would keep him.
