Happy first really, really big weekend of college football to those who celebrate.

Happy Ryder Cup weekend to those who celebrate.

Happy Browns Lions.

It doesn't happen often enough.

Don't get me started talking about the roots of the Great Lakes. Classic, I might get a little emotional. But they only play in the regular season once every four years. The Browns only go to Detroit once every eight years. There is a schedule provision that can make it a little more than that. If anybody checked the resale prices on this, you would know the Lions fans are still

fired up about their team. And that given the proximity, you know, in the scarcity of this matchup,

I guess, people are rightly excited. And Lions fans should be excited. They laid an egg in week one.

They've been awesome since.

They just went to Baltimore last Monday night and completely pushed the Ravens around.

Browns fans should be excited.

They got to win.

They still won.

The defense has been great.

So, you know, you have to bring the fight to the Lions who are good on both lines, who ran for 224 on the Ravens and Sack Lamar Jackson seven times.

So I'd be really, really worried about my offense and my offensive line.

If I was a Browns fan, I'd be really excited about what the defense is doing.

And I don't think the defense can do this for 17 games. That's not being negative. That's reality. But I do think when they have the players, they clearly have the right fits for their system. They're clearly playing with a lot of confidence. Like, why couldn't they drag the lines into a fight?

Why couldn't they frustrate the hell out of Jared golf, right? And stop the run. So the Ravens ran for

almost as many yards the other night in Baltimore as the Browns have all season. And the Browns

completely shut down the Ravens running game a couple of weeks ago. And here comes another
