Summary

It’s easy to have a grand idea; putting that plan into action is not. Victoria Yampolsky conceived of a global concert in support of Ukraine. I got to a very depressing state when I was reading all the news and I got an idea for this

1:14.0

construct. How about we bring international top artists and athletes and celebrities to unite

1:20.0

everybody around the world to come together in support of Ukraine? We're called most artists

1:27.2

and with Pink Floyd, I called their office. It took me several phone calls. I don't take no

1:33.1

for an answer so I find a way to negotiate. I would give entrepreneurs this advice not to be afraid.

Try for an idea that seems so crazy and undueble when you first start because you never know what

1:46.6

you can do before you try it. That's Victoria Yampolsky, CEO of a new organization called World

Unite for Ukraine. A New York-based Russia-born entrepreneur, Yampolsky had an idea for a big

2:03.4

concert to raise funds and support for Ukrainians. And even though she had no experience in entertainment

2:09.2

or international aid, on June 16th, that idea is set to become a reality. I'm Bob Safian,
