Ole Miss on Friday injected some rocket fuel into its 2024 recruiting efforts, doubling its class total (2) with the commitment of four-star quarterback Demond Williams.

Williams is ranked as the No. 251 overall prospect in his class by the industry-generated On3 Consensus — a complete and equally-weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He held additional offers from, among others, Arizona, UCLA, Oregon and Cal.

Williams is the No. 19 quarterback in the country and No. 27 player in Arizona.
