And then I guess we weren't totally talking politics, but we were talking, you know, like politics mixed with sports. It's as close as we're going to get. It's as close as we're going to get on this show. I'll just say it that way. Tell you what. Just dabbling. And it's, I'm with you. My head just wants to break. Just, just talking about it. Notre Dame Athletic Director Pete Mavacqua was there testifying before a committee today in Washington.

Nick Saban was there with him, and there were others regarding the

Protect College Sports Act that's been talked about. And I'll just lead this rapid fire

with Irish Shytown's comment. Do you buy or sell? College football needs a commissioner.

I buy it.

They need something.

They need some sort of governing person or body, either one that has no affiliation to anyone else.

Now, I realize that's going to be difficult because there's going to be

history and there's going to be former allegiances, whether it's to a school or a conference or

whatever. But what you want is you want a Roger Goodell type. Now, I know he's not the most popular

guy in the world, but he's not, he is, he's, but he also wants a very successful professional sports organization. The man makes something like 30 to 50 million dollars a year. He's doing something right. And he's not, he's minting money is what he's doing. He's not beholden to one team or another, right? Exactly. He's not beholden to the owners, but at the same time. Because they're the ones that hired him. Right. But again, you need somebody that's not going to be beholden to the SEC, not going to be beholden to the big team. You know who they need because I know a lot of people talk about Nick Sabin. And I don't want Nick Saban because Nick Saban is still going to, he's predominantly going to push it an agenda

and he's predominantly going to, gonna push it an agenda that suits his background, right? Like he's, he's knee deep in the SEC. Oh, he doesn't happen. Push came to shove when it came to college football playoff selection time last year. He got right, you know, he wrapped his arms around Alabama.
