Former Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman waved by the Washington commanders today.

A little surprised by that.

I mean, I don't, I guess I am not intimately familiar with the pecking order of

quarterbacks in the land of Washington, D.C.

But, you know, too bad for Sam. I mean, he was,

he was never going to be, obviously, a frontline starter and all of those kinds of things. And I thought he was a good backup. He's a, he's a professional guy, you know, all of those two things, but all are all of those things, I should say. I looked at Bobby O'Shea, said he threw two picks and I said two.

You know, he's a solid backup.

He's got a chance to catch on someplace, you know, depending on what the landscape looks like. It would still end up on the practice squad in Washington. That's a really good point. That's a lot of- Airwaivers and all that kind of stuff. He was one of the last ones, right, to, like one of the last quarterbacks probably to be cut,

I would imagine at this point.

So, yeah, he might get resigned as the.

And he kind of just, you know, he fumbled a few times last year, never really gained any footing.

And I think that that when you look at the way Sean Payton has kind of just, you know, he fumbled a few times last year, never really gained any footing. And I think

that that when you look at the way Sean Peyton has kind of done things, they were looking like,

they were looking for a different kind of back than Audrick estimate. I think Audrick is going to

catch on someplace because he's a second year guy with, you know, not a lot of mileage off his treads, even going back to his college days, you know, who's really only a full-time guy for, for the one year at Notre Dame. So I'll be curious to see where he catches on because, again, you know, like even if he's only a practice squad guy, someone's, someone's going to pick up a young running back like that.

I wouldn't mind a team that starts with a D picking him up.

But I don't know what the heck they're going to do with their running back situation
