it's rapid fire time on the show we're doing rapid fire a little bit early today.

We've got an interview with Notre Dame women's basketball player Ania Hardy who transferred from Louisville this offseason coming up in the second hour of the show.

Jesse's actually got to leave a little bit earlier tonight. So that's why we kind of

move things around and we're starting rapid fire in this hour instead of next hour. So Jesse,

we've been talking about and listening to some comments for Marcus Freeman from this afternoon's

media session that he had with members of the Notre Dame beat.

And you might remember in one of the interviews that Freeman did recently, he said that he wants to retire at Notre Dame.

I can't remember exactly who he talked to when he said that.

That might have been the, was it the, well, it doesn't matter.

But he was asked today if saying that, wanting to retire at Notre Dame,

and did it feel like he could have said that a couple of years ago?

Yeah, I don't want that to come off as an arrogant answer and that I plan

being here as long as I can.

If we do a good enough job and I'm able to and want it to be the head coacher, I want to stay the head coach.

I'm all in and I've been all in.

And there was times where I wanted to listen to some other people.

And I did.

And it confirmed that this is the place I want to be.

And, you know, I do.

I don't see myself being a head coach or coaching anywhere.
