The thing that makes me most confident that Notre Dame is a playoff team is watching C.J.

Carr play, to be honest with you.

My biggest concern at the beginning of the season was whether or not C.J.

Carr could be mature enough, handle running an offense with the lack of, I guess, experience. I think the defense

will naturally figure itself out. And I think that, you know, the offensive line, while it has

work to do, it'll figure itself out. But the thing that makes me most confident is the biggest

question mark coming into the season was the quarterback

position. And I thought we saw enough at a CJ car to say this guy can lead a playoff team.

All right. I like that. That's a good answer. Mine starts with Marcus Freeman because he's been

here before. He's responded from these kind of situations before, you know, let's face it,

losing to Northern Illinois at home is much worse than losing to a number 10 team on the road in a season opener.

You know, and they went from NIU to a national championship game.

Freeman has shown the ability to be nimble, reflective, you know,

make the changes that he needs to make midstream and get things corrected. And, you know,
