Tech will have lost to number 11 and unranked while Notre Dame's losses to number 7 and number 12.

They're not going to go from ranked number four in,

in the rankings this week to out of the field if they lose to BYU in the

conference championship game.

At worst,

they'll fall probably like two spots would be my guess.

Because the committee has been very consistent about the fact that could there be movement

if they're, you know, because of conference championship weekend, yes, could there be a lot of

And Texas Tech would have to tumble pretty darn far. Now, if you take everything else out of it,

right, the fact that this would be the final ranking, this is a championship game, if you just wanted

to compare Texas Tech and Notre Dame's resumes with Texas Tech as a two-loss team, Notre Dame is a two-loss team. I think Notre Dame has a better resume, but it doesn't matter. It's too late in the season for Texas Tech to fall behind Notre Dame. Like, that's not going to happen. If they would have gotten their second loss, you know, four weeks ago, let's have a conversation. Yeah. But that's not going to happen at this stage of the game.
