Notre Dame running back, Judarian Price was asked this week about his fumble in the Miami game. Here's what Price said. Quote, as a running back, you can't let the ball touch the ground. That's a non-negotiable across all levels of football. Can't let it touch the ground. And I have to do a better job of that. Shake it off. go on to the next play, go on to the next week.

I have a chance to come back and do better things this week. The message all week long,

no matter who we play, is protect the football, whether that's on offense, defense, or special

teams, all three phases. We want to protect the football because the football is the program.

Doesn't matter who the coach is.

They're all relaying the message.

Take care of the ball,

but especially the running backs coach is telling you,

hey,

it's part of the game,

but just do better,

end quote.

that says blank to you.

It says that he takes accountability for his actions, which I appreciate.

It says that he knows that this is a program standard.

And I suppose it's why he didn't play after he fumbled the ball.

I still think it's a terrible decision.
