A Penn State writer wrote an article about how Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame beat James Franklin and Penn State to get commitments from Pennsylvania stud recruits, Joey O'Brien and Grayson McHugh, as well as Kari Adams out of Maryland.

It's blank that the headline to this article is

the Penn State Notre Dame football rivalry is back.

It's misleading because the rivalry isn't necessarily back.

Notre Dame is just taking Penn State and others recruits at the end of the day.

Just because Notre Dame played just taking Penn State and others recruits at the end of the day. Like just because Notre Dame played recently in a meaningful game and now Notre Dame is kind of stomping all over Penn State's recruiting grounds doesn't mean that a rivalry is back.

And so I think this is very misleading at the end of the day.

So I guess I'm curious what your word is.

I think it's hilarious that they're calling this a rivalry. Now, granted, was it a close game

in the Orange Bowl? Sure it was. It came right down to the wire, an interception, and a field goal.

But like if anything, you know, maybe the head coaches

have a little rivalry going, you know, after, because like the guy, the guy does mention,

you know, like the shots, you know, like the little, the little jabs that James Franklin made,

you know, during the pregame press conference before the Orange Bowl and how Freeman didn't like it.

And he told his team to go out there and play angry in the Orange Bowl. But this is not a rivalry.

It's not a rivalry when you're getting your butt kicked. I mean, maybe you're getting, you know, like,

maybe you're ticking Penn State fans off and you're ticking James Franklin off, but it's anything but a rivalry right now.

Notre Dame has won the most recent and most important game that these two teams have played in a long

time. And Marcus Freeman and his staff just went into Pennsylvania. And, you know, Maryland is
