Well, you know, I didn't have a top 10 list, so I was doing some research.

Gotcha. Someone asked Stuart Mendel in his mailbag on the athletic for suggestions for fun teams to watch this season.

His number one team, Notre Dame. Here's what he said. An offense

once known primarily for its tight ends could legitimately be one of the most explosive in the

country. You got a peak of that in the CFP with breakout performances from running back

Jeremiah Love and receiver Jaden Graedhouse and the Irish

added Virginia's Malachi Fields. So Vince, what does that say to you? I'm actually shocked

that he would come up with a team like Notre Dame to be a team that would be fun to watch because I

don't know that that's really been the case because usually teams that are fun to watch are just,

you know, lighten up the scoreboard like a pinball machine. And while Notre Dame has scored recently, it hasn't been like, you know, the greatest show on turf or, you know, anything like that that's just like exciting offense. It's just they're better than the other teams that they're playing. And so they score a lot, you know. And a lot of times our defense is putting them in position to score a lot of points as well. So look, I'm not going to say I disagree with him. I think Notre Dame is going to be fun to watch, especially offensively. They are going to throw the ball around a lot more. Jeremiah Love is fun to watch. I think the receivers are going to get into the mix.

So I don't think he's wrong.
