Recently, when we asked people what they wanted to see from these rankings, they asked for us dialing in a little bit, more specific rankings, rather than necessarily talking in a bit more of a broad sense.

So we thought we'd bring that to you this week.

a bit all over the place. You have a few beers at the weekend. I had a few beers at the weekend.

I enjoyed myself. A good weekend, Fulham one, Bettis one. It was a perfect weekend in so many different ways. Wow. Well, well done,

mate. You've made it for another year. Congratulations. Thank you.

Today we're going to be talking about central midfielders and going to be ranking the best in the business. Now, this is an almost impossible task because there are plenty of different types of central midfielders. There are defensive midfielders. There are attacking midfielders. There are just straight central midfielders. There are wingers that sometimes play inside.

There are centrebacks that can step up.

It's been a bit complicated.

We're going to break it into three to try and keep it as sort of on path as possible.

Defensive midfielders, attacking midfielders, and just sort of all round central midfielders.
