Hello and welcome to episode 9669 of the official Establish the Run.com podcast.

0:21.6

My name is Adam Levittan.

0:23.0

The NFL draft is nearly upon us,

0:25.6

and we continue to dive into all the most important prospects in this year's class.

0:30.8

For this, I am joined by the two young men.

0:33.7

You know and love.

0:34.8

Evan Silva, how's it going today?

0:36.7

It's going great. Love these shows with Runner. He's going to break it all down at the running back position, arguably the most valuable position in all of fantasy.

0:44.8

Indeed. Mike Renner of CBS Sports. How's going?

0:48.8

Going great. I think I say this every year, but I don't know if I'm the best guy as a former PFF employee to talk running backs,

1:28.1

but this year in particular, like last year I was raving about it. This year, I wish I could find a guy for you that's like, hey, well, here's this hidden gem. This might be the worst riding back class ever scout. Oh, no. Oh, no. Well, we'll get into it. On today's show, we're going to dissect every notable running back prospect in the 26 NFL draft. Renner will put each prospect into tiers, ranging from the S tier, the best, the elite, to the F tier, the worst of the class.

1:29.5

All right.

1:33.8

Let's get into it here at running back.

1:36.2

We'll start with what seems to be the easy one.

1:42.3

Jeremiah Love, 6 foot, 212, everyone's number one running back prospect in this class.

1:45.1

But what stuck out to me, Renner, not just everyone's number one running back. A lot of people have this guy in the top one, top two, top three of all

1:50.7

prospects, regardless of position in this draft. Renner, what tier would you have, Jeremy Loveon?

1:56.6

And I'm curious how you have him overall independent of position also. Put him in the last tier. This guy is a special running back prospect, special athlete. I mean, he ran four, three, six of the combine. And what I love is like he's competitive. He goes in as a guy who's like you said, top three on a lot of boards, a likely top 10 pick, probably a lock at this point. He ran a 40. He goes through the drills at the combine. When's the last time we saw that, right? Most of the guys opt out at the combine, maybe wait until the pro day or don't even do it all together when they're in that tier of prospect. I love that he's gotten better seemingly every single year. I think there's been a thing for him to work on each

2:35.3

and every year. He's gotten a lot stronger over the course of his career. He's improved a lot as a

2:39.0

receiver this past season. I think the one weakness to his game is probably between the tackles,

2:46.4

maximizing runs. He can get a little dancy. He doesn't always set up blocks with the pacing, you know,

2:54.1

and the sort of angle that it takes for the particular run concept.
