We are just one sleep away from the start of the NBA season.

An offseason full of nothing has come to an end.

And we can finally say that the Defending Champion, OKC Thunder are playing game number one very, very soon. I cannot be more hype. Can you hear it in my voice? Can you see it in my face? I've been waiting for this. I thought this is the perfect time for us to get into some power rankings. Day zero power rankings to kind of look back on, you know, halfway through the season, a quarter of the way, three quarters away through the season and say hmm I was really how on this team and they ended up

disappointed I was pretty low on this team and they're so much better we also today have to get into

some of the trends that we've seen from last season and I'm going to say whether or not I think

that the double big lineup that you saw

comeback last season is here to stay. And of course, at the end, we got our favorite segment

Ask KB, Why Answer Your Questions. Are we ready to get into this power rank? And so the way I kind of

looked at it is like, hey, these are the 10 teams that I believe the most in. These are the

lineups that I think that are going to win a bunch of games some of them going to be teams that I think can win the championship this season and we're going to start at number 10 of course because you you have to wait for number one number 10 team in a league I got is the Atlanta Hawks this is a off-season started. I wouldn't even come close to

putting them in the top 10. But they had an amazing offseason. The chaos of the walk on the team,

Chris Sperzingis on the team, Jalen Johnson, being back from his injury. And oh, the former first overall pick, Zachary Rich, I say, looked really good in offseason play this year. And then in the preseason. I'm not here to overreact, but I got a lot to say about him later in the

episode. So this is a year really, really depending on Trey Young, on Quinn Snyder, on the health of these guys, because Jalen Johnson was on a role to win most approved player. And then his teammate Dyson Dayans ended up winning it because Jalen Johnson went down with an injury. Chris Sversengis, big offseason acquisition. We love Chris Staps. She shot over 40% from

three as a 7-3 big fella, but we all know that Chris Sperzengis has dealt with injuries

throughout the entirety of his career. So it's really a bet on injury luck and Trey Young,

who for the first time I can say the team built around him

makes a lot of sense even though he had a conference finals runs just a few years ago that felt like

catching lightning in the bottle this team is currently constructed if they were in the conference

finals i could not say it was lightning in the bottle they got defense they got size they got one of

the true initiators in all the basketball. And they have a really, really high ceiling. Number nine on
