The weekend is almost upon us.

And it is your normal Thursday crew.

I am Jason Perrone of the Pack of Day podcast, Game on Wisconsin on the Quickslance podcast along with Mark Echle of Packer Report.

Mark, we were just chatting a little bit, and believe it or not, we're like a week

away from rookies coming in.

This thing is getting real.

Oh, yeah.

It's, you know, it's funny, and I knew it when I covered football in those years, and it's gotten

worse or better, depending on your point of view, I guess.

But there's not much of an offseason.

People think, oh, they only play, you know, 17 games now, so 18 weeks.

I mean, between the draft and free agency, you know, that eats up months at a time.

And then there's a little break.

And then before you know it, the rookies are reporting for training camp.

Mark, there could be two weeks between the Super Bowl and week one of the following season.

And NFL fans would complain that it's too long.

The football addiction in the world is crazy.

And Packers fans especially, like, you see how great, you see how ornery this fan base gets
