In just a little bit, we're going to be going over potential contract extensions this off season.

We're not talking about unrestricted free agents this year, like Rashid Walker,

Quay Walker, Romeo Dobbs, etc. We're talking about players who are under contract in 2026,

who Green Bay could look to extend this offseason. There are 12 free agents that we're going to go over.

There's going to be probably three, four, five that have some real legitimate options and maybe some interesting ones as well.

We'll go over all of that momentarily.

Before we get there, some news and notes from Friday.

The biggest thing, of course, is that the Packers did, in fact, confirm and have the

press release that the trio of Brian Gutikins, Matt LaFleur, and Rust Ball were all extended.

A comment from Ed Policy in it. It was mostly just the confirmation, again, that they're all extended. There was no

terms. There was no years. I've not seen yet from anyone from a Domovsky or from anybody on the

beat that covers the team that has been able to get the terms of the deal, how long the contract is for, how much money Matt LaFleur is making anything like that. So that still remains a bit of a mystery. But the Green Bay Packers did in fact put out that press release that all three have, in fact, been extended. As far as I am aware, and to my knowledge, this is not something that Green Bay has done in the past.

So this is a little bit of a change under Ed policy that they are announcing extensions for Coach GM and salary cap guru.

And so that's a little bit interesting in and of itself.

But we knew it already.
