we're gonna be talking about the films of Diablo Cody

B.J. Colangelo. Hi, hi yeah. Okay, B.J. Diablo Cody is back in

theaters probably as people are listening to this. She wrote the screenplay for Lisa Frankenstein, which is a new movie

that's out, and we'll talk more in depth about that movie tomorrow. I think the plan is to have

a spoiler conversation about that. We're not really going to include that movie in today's

ranking, but I thought we could go through the other movies that Diablo Cody wrote and

yeah, just talk about those and kind of try to put together at least a loose ranking.

This is just like a snapshot in time type of situation.

Maybe not quite like the definitive thing, you know, opinions change over time.

You know, anyway, this will just be like our snapshot for how we're feeling about her work right now.

What do you think about Diablo Cody as an auteur almost? Oh, Diablo Cody is like my screenwriter.

She is the screenwriter that I got really into as a teenager

and had this aha moment of, oh, I can write movies like this. This is somebody who speaks to a lot of my

sensibilities and she really opened doors for me in terms of what was possible to write about in movies.

I love her work.

All of these movies that we're going to talk about today

are in my personal rankings as like at lowest like an 8 out of 10. I really love the

voice that she brings to her characters to the stories. I also love Diablo Cody Teenspeak which will definitely get into.
