Now in this video, we'll break down the top 10 running backs in this year's NFL draft and how these players can help your favorite football team or even your fantasy football team this year.

0:08.8

And we'll start with Isaac Horendo, who you might not have heard about up until the NFL combat.

0:12.9

And maybe you don't even know about him.

0:13.9

Otherwise, he is somebody who just had his final year in football last year in Louisville and he's entering the draft. Now the interesting thing is Herando never topped 132 carries in his five-year college career, but despite this, he still makes this top 10 list,

0:25.9

and here's why. So Herendo started his college career actually at Wisconsin in 2019. He played

0:30.7

four years there up until 2022. His 2019 year isn't here. Only one game in 2020. Really never saw

0:35.7

a role when he was in wisconsin never saw more than

0:38.1

64 carries was buried behind another player in this draft class for a few years in braylon allen

0:42.9

we will talk about him later but then he had his best season in 2023 where he saw by far as most carries

0:47.4

more than double any other year with 132 810 yards he was averaging over 6 yards per carry he

0:53.1

finally had that big season. Now,

0:54.8

0:59.4

Jordan, and Louisville in 2023. And maybe this is just a reason that the coaches didn't see the

1:03.5

proper skill set for him. We've seen this in the past with teams like Tennessee and having

1:07.0

Alvin Kamara as their backup in college. But in 2023, he was explosive.

1:11.4

He had a breakaway run rate of 10%.

1:13.1

That means 10% of his runs went for at least 15 yards.

1:16.1

And he also ranked 7th amongst all running backs in yards after contact per attempt,

1:19.8

which correlates really strongly with future NFL success.

1:22.8

So you're getting this powerful back who was explosive in college last year,

1:26.1

and at the NFL combine he helped himself

1:27.9

out more than any other back in this class he ran a 4-3-340 time at 225 pounds look at this that is the
