It was obviously a big weekend of football and very different to settle down and watch a game of that size and that importance at like 8.30 in the morning. Your brain's not really ready for it.

But wow, it took like how many seconds for the first flashpoint, like three seconds.

So I was into it from the third second and I just loved that game.

I mean, it was an incredible game between Arsenal and City at the

weekend, and we thought it might be a nice place to start a discussion around sort of era-defining

Premier League rivalries. So we're going to spend the first 20 minutes, first segment of this podcast

talking about Arsenal City, about the game, but also about what it represented. And maybe there is that changing of the guard that we've seen over the last couple of seasons.

It's maybe seen Arsenal push into the ascendancy as city's main challenges.

And then in the rest of the episode, we're going to walk back down memory lane a little bit.

We're going to discuss that famous rivalries in Liverpool and City,

PEP against Klopp that defined the Premier League

for a number of years. We're going to look back at who City's challengers really have been

since sort of 2010. And there's a couple of different teams that have been there and then also

work our way back through the eras of Jaze Marino, Sir Alex Ferguson, Arson Venger, go back

through those rivalries that defined
