So we are now in a place where the Big 12 is going to be adding a 14 team.

The question is, who's next?

So I went down the list, and I ranked my top targets for the Big 12 conference, not who's most likely per se, but my top targets for the

big 12 conference, and I'll explain each one as I go. I've got 10 teams here that we're going to

run down for the Big 12 as we rank Big 12 expansion candidates who should be the 14th team to join this league.

At number one, the Oregon Ducks.

Now, before you say this is a long shot, before you say, Pete, Oregon's going to the Big 10.

Stop, it doesn't matter.

Don't even bother having the conversation. Not so fast. Kevin Warren is no

longer running the Big 10. He's the commissioner who added UCLA and USC. He's not involved anymore.

There's not a lot of appetite right now. It appears from the Big 10 to bring on Oregon and Washington.

It would be more convenient, but it does not appear to be something that they are dying to do.

They would have done it by now.
