All right, coming in on Heist News, we got an article from IGN, who was sent in by Tom F on Twitter. Thanks, Tom. Thanks, Tom. And the headline is, Deep Fake Voice used to steal over $240,000 in AI-powered heist. Pretty crazy. It's a lot in that headline. Yeah. It's pretty wild. Do you know a deep fake? Should we explain what deep fake is or do they do it in this article? Deepfakes are hot right now. Yeah, deep fakes are hot. They're all the rage. Yeah. Deepfakes is just, I guess, an AI manipulating video or pictures or audio. It's pretty crazy. It's like when you put like John Candy's face on Emma Watson, whatever you want to do. You always mix it off. There's a lot of like cool videos on YouTube about it. It's weird how it's only built for using John Candy's face on Emma Watson. I mean, that's the first place my head goes. But no, it is something for those that don't know you. You can essentially now just make a video of anything, doing anything, and it's going to look very real. And the same goes for audio. You can make Barack Obama say that he likes a smell of his own butt or whatever you wanted. That was a direct quote. That was a direct quote. That wasn't a deep fake. But yeah, so it's pretty crazy. And this thing's a part of our lives now. And this is a deep fake

heist. This is one of the first deep fake heist. Yeah. So thieves stole over $240,000 by using

voice mimicking software to trick a company's employee. The thieves used an AI voice deep fake of a

company executive to get the employee to wire money to an off-site account in what researchers say is a first publicly announced AI heist.
