Welcome to episode 124 of the recovery show.

We are friends and family members of alcoholics and addicts who have found a path to serenity and happiness.

We who live or have lived with a seemingly helpless problem of addiction

understand as perhaps few others can. So much depends on our own attitudes and

we believe that changed attitudes can aid recovery.

Today's episode of the recovery show is an open talk by Randy Kay.

I listened to this open talk recently and some of the things that he had to say really resonated with me. In particular I connected

with his description of his own addiction because I have found that in my life as well.

And maybe you can identify with it when you listen to Randy.

Alan Ande. Although I was kind of laughing with some of the people beforehand.

It just kind of reminded me of the Hunger Games a little bit.

It's like, you know, like people of District 19,

Although Tara reminded me that there is no District 19 in Hunger Games.
