THEIRES Hello and welcome to Sociology 101.

As you can tell, I'm in a different location because I am traveling, was preaching this weekend,

and going from one place to the next and had a free afternoon.

And so I thought, what better time to do a book review than when in passing the time and going from one place to the next and had a free afternoon.

And so I thought, what better time to do a book review than when I'm passing the time in a hotel from one traveling speaking engagement to the next.

And the reason I'm doing this review is J.D. Martin had actually recommended this book by Randy Alcorn.

I've heard of Randy Alcorn. He's a pretty well-known author.

I've read some of his other works or familiar with some of his other works. And J.D. Martin is a lower modified kind of a quasi-form of Calvinism that seems kind of strange to some of us

who study these issues because they don't sound like most of the Calvinists that we're aware of,

like John Calvin himself or people like John Piper or other leading Calvinists.

And so he recommended Alcorn as one of the scholars that supports his particular perspective.

And I found the book interesting.

I got it.

I just got it on Kindle and then I play it

through my speak app so I could listen to it while I was driving. And so I wasn't able to take the

notes while I was driving for obvious reasons. But I did make some audio notes in my car while I was
