National Security Advisor John Bolton is out, announced via Twitter in a terst statement by the president that contradicts what Bolton himself has told us.

Now, here's what the president tweeted.

I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House.

I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the administration.

And therefore, I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning.

I thank John very much for his service.

I will be naming a new national security of our next week.

Of course, those disagreements are a laundry list of hot spots, Iran, North Korea, and Afghanistan.

Now, minutes after the president tweeted that, Bolton responded.
